Ronald Kuhl Obituary

Ronald A. Kuhl
Ronald A. Kuhl, 83, of Milford, CT, beloved husband of Josephine (Plavcan) Kuhl, entered into eternal rest on March 14, 2023. Born on December 9, 1939 in East Lyme, CT, he was raised in Bridgeport, CT. He was the son of the late Robert and Martha (Williams) Kuhl.
Ronald was a graduate of Harding High School in Bridgeport, CT. Following high school, he worked at Jenkins Bros in Bridgeport for several years before following his desire to serve his country by enlisting in the United States Army where he obtained the rank of Sergeant, proudly training and leading his team of soldiers. Following Ronald's honorable discharge from his duties in the Army, he married his loving wife of sixty years, Josephine, and they settled down in Milford, CT, where they raised their family and where he would spend most of his career as a Set Up Machinist at Burndy Corporation. Upon the closure of Burndy Corp, Ronald continued his career at Bodine Corporation in Bridgeport, CT, where he worked as a CNC Machinist until his retirement. Ronald was an avid reader and started each day catching up on the latest news by reading several news publications. He loved bowling and he was also an avid fisherman. Ronald loved taking long drives with Josie, admiring the beautiful landscapes throughout Connecticut, New Hampshire, and Vermont. When he wasn't out exploring on his long drives you could find him home cheering on his favorite teams, the New York Yankees and the Dallas Cowboys. Ronald was a lifelong member of the Milford Elks and also a proud member of the American Legion.
Ronald was predeceased by his parents, Robert and Martha. He is survived by his loving wife Josephine, his son Ronald Kuhl and daughter-in-law Peggy Kuhl and his daughter Donna Nunno and son-in-law, Bob Nunno; his brother, Robert Kuhl and his sister, Diane Bardinelli. He is also survived by his five grandchildren, Christy (Jonathan Pareja) Kuhl, Ronald Kuhl, Jennifer (Sean Baia) Kuhl, Christopher Nunno and Nicholas Nunno, as well as four great-grandchildren, Christian, Jayce, Jackson, and Easton. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Family and friends are invited to gather on Monday, March 20, 2023, from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at the CODY-WHITE FUNERAL HOME, 107 BROAD STREET, MILFORD, CT 06460.
