William Pancak Obituary

PANCAK William G. Pancak, age 84, beloved husband of the late Frances Gustas Pancak of Stratford, passed away on Wednesday, April 14, 2004, at Bridgeport Hospital. He is survived by his loving family, two sons, William J. Pancak and his wife, Katherine, and David M. Pancak and his wife, Margaret, all of Stratford; two daughters, MaryBeth Ivanoff and her husband, Robert, of Flemington, N.J., and Barbara Colangelo and her husband, Tuck, of Stratford; two sisters, Anne Visconti of North Haven, and Mary McCormick of Dallas; nine grandchildren; several nieces and nephews; and his dear companion, Millie Schmedlin. He was also predeceased by two sisters, Wilma Pacelli and Julia Fisher. William was a United States Army veteran and a retired supervisor at the General Electric Co., where he was employed for 41 years. He was a charter member of the Fatherƒs Club of Lordship, and also a member of the Quarter Century Club of General Electric. Private funeral services were held on April 17, 2004. A memorial service will be held on Saturday, May 8, 2004, at 10 a.m. at Our Lady of Peace Church, Lordship. The Galello-Luchansky Funeral Home, 2189 Barnum Avenue, Stratford, will be in care of arrangements. Those who so desire may contribute to the Connecticut Humane Society in memory of Mr. Pancak.
