William Trutt Obituary
William J. Trutt, Jr., age 85, of Trumbull, passed away peacefully on Friday, July 21, 2023 at Cambridge Manor, Fairfield. He was the beloved husband of Vera (Schoenemann) Trutt. Born in Brooklyn, NY on October 21, 1937 he was a son of the late William J. and Ann (Clinton) Trutt, Sr.
In addition to his beloved wife, Vera, of 64 years, other survivors include his devoted children, Linda Arceri and her husband Louis and William J. Trutt, III and his wife Melanie, cherished granddaughters, Caitlin and Courtney Trutt, his brother-in-law, William Schoenemann and his wife Patricia, as well as childhood friends John, Jay, Dick and Doug and several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his sister, Joan Sheridan.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Tuesday, July 25, 2023 at 10:30 a.m. in Christ the King Church, 4700 Madison Ave., Trumbull. Interment will follow in St. Mary's Cemetery, Ridgefield. Friends may greet the family on Monday from 4:00 to 7:00 p.m. at the Abriola Parkview Funeral Home, 419 White Plains Rd., Trumbull.
