I will always remember Sandy for her and George´s efforts in the Country Kitchen at the 4-H Fair. They took that place from a glorified lemonade stand to a full blown lunch spot. I remember feeling so happy when I learned it had been appropriately renamed the Trutt Stop. Sending my love and condolences to George and the family.

I first met Sandra at her ceramics shop in Enfield. My friend Mattie and I became close friends with Sandra and her husband George. Sandra made us laugh whether it was in her studio or when she led a group of our kids who marched in local parades. She will be greatly missed by many many people whose lives she touched.

The place was always working in the kitchen at the Tompkins County 4H fair. Sandy was always smiling and cheerful.
