Psalm 23
The Lord is my shepherd, I shall not be in want.
He makes me lie down in green pastures,
he leads me beside quiet waters,
he restores my soul.
He guides me in paths of righteousness for his name's sake.
Even though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death,
I will fear no evil,
for you are with me;
your rod and your staff,
they comfort me.
You prepare a table before me
in the presence of my enemies.
You anoint my head with oil;
my cup overflows.
Surely goodness and love will follow me all the days of my
life,
and I (Ruthie) will dwell in the house of the Lord forever.

Dear Lynn, Eddie, and Chuck:
The Word of God promises us in the book of Psalm that "God puts our tears in a bottle." May the bottle, in which He collects your tears, be poured back to Him with endless gratitude for having the honor of calling Ruthie, your precious "Ma."

My heart is with you,
Donna

In My Pocket

I have memories in my pocket.
They rattle among the change.

My memories of you are treasures I carry wherever I go.

They are stored in bits and pieces, parts of a beautiful whole
They give me comfort when I think I am alone.

Yes, I have memories in my pocket, like so much other stuff I keep there.

But of all the treasures I have, it’s the memories of you that are the most precious.
