Lynda Summers Obituary

Lynda Hefner Summers passed away Thursday, Aug. 16, 2012, in Ruidoso, N.M. A cremation has taken place and the cremains will be buried in Danville, Ark. A Celebration of Life has been held in Ruidoso in her memory.
Lynda was born March 18, 1950, in Carlsbad, N.M., the daughter of Aulton and Francis Hefner.
She graduated from Carlsbad High School in 1967 and soon began a family with Kenny Summers and with him had two children who she loved with all her heart. Lynda has lived in Ruidoso for the last 25 years. She was a beautiful, energetic woman with a huge heart.
She enjoyed spending time with her children and grandchildren and working in the yard. She enjoyed oil painting in her earlier years.
She will be very much missed by all her friends and family.
She was preceded in death by her mother and her father, Aulton and Francis Hefner.
She is survived by her children: Jon Summers of Carlsbad, N.M., and Amy Brannon of Russellville, Ark.; and grandchildren: Ryan Massey and Alexandria Massey of Russellville, Ark.

To Lynda's family..my thoughts and prayers are with you. I had not seen Lynda in many years, but I remember the great times we had as girls during the 60's. God Bless you all.
