Edwin Thamer Obituary
For 41 years, Ed was a vocal and instrumental instructor and later also a technology instructor/facilitator for Nebraska schools including Springview, Sargent, Ansley, Taylor and Anselmo-Merna.
He was preceded in death by his parents Allen and Mary Liz; sister Nancy; and brother-in-law Eddie.
He is survived by his wife Carol; son Allen (Laura); grandchildren Jackson, Kylie and Brooklyn; brother Richard (Janie); brother-in-law Arthur; sisters-in-law Karen (Roy) and Linda (Jerell); and 11 nieces and nephews.
Visitation is Thursday, Nov. 18, 5-7 p.m. at Roeder Mortuary, 11710 Standing Stone, in Gretna.
The funeral service is at 2 p.m. Friday, Nov. 19 at St. Paul Lutheran Church, 13271 Millard Avenue, in Omaha.
