Claudia Larson, 89, of Dekalb passed away peacefully Saturday, August 16, 2014, surround by the love and prayers of her family.
Claudia was born on March 19, 1925, in Black Oak, Arkansas. After high school her free spirit brought her to Chicago to start a life of her own. Claudia met and married the man of her dreams, Clarence Larson in 1951. They started a family of their own, eventually settling in St. Charles. Claudia is gone from this Earth, but will never be forgotten.
Claudia is survived by her 5 children, Nancy Faber, David (Tara), Wayne, Robert (LeaAnn), Edward (Julie) Larson; 9 grandchildren, Josh (Debbie) Faber, Becky (fianc e Chris Fack) Faber, Kimberly Larson-Osborn, Daniel, Anthony, Sean, Eric, Ivan Larson, Emily (Robert) Hansen; and 4 great grandchildren.
Claudia is preceded in death by her husband of over 38 years, Clarence; and her mother Gladys.
Visitation to celebrate her life will be held at Conley Funeral Home, 116 w. Pierce, Elburn, on Sunday, August 24, from 1-3 pm, with memory sharing at 2 pm. Interment will be private.
In lieu of flowers, a memorial has been established in Claudia's name. Checks may be made to the "Claudia Larson Memorial" and mailed in care of P.O. Box 66, Elburn, 60119.

Aunt Claudia was such an extraordinary person. She had a loving heart and always found the best in people. She also made the best apple pie I have ever had. :)
