Edna is survived by five generations of family: her daughter, Gaila (Bob) White of Waterman; sons, Charles (Donna) Johnson of DeKalb and David (Diane) Johnson of Elizabethton, Tenn.; grandchildren; great-grandchildren; great-great-grandchildren; as well as several nieces and nephews.

Hello Gay and Bob and Butch and Karen...
Read about your mom/grandma and just wanted to say I am thinking about you all today, and so is my mom. I told her about Edna's death and she wanted me to relay her condolences to you. I remember talking to Edna many times when I was at Karen's house, and I always enjoyed her. Blessings to your whole family now. Patti Heckman (Swanson) and Doris Swanson

Hello Johnson family: There is a time in one's life that says, "I should be there." The death of your Mother, "Mom Johson", to me is one of those times. She was my "2nd Mother", and the love we had for each other showed that, thus the Mom Johnson. A great lady always. Know I am thinking of you, wish I could be with you Gay, and family. God's blessings to all. Love, Nancy Coss

Dear Gayla, Chuck, Dave and family, read of Edna's passing. She certainly had a long and full life and will be long remembered. Please accept my condolences and apology for not being able to attend her services as I am at my lake home north of Hayward. William Boad Swanson
