Pearl was one of a kind. I worked with her awhile when we both first started at NIU in 1976. I tried to keep in touch throughout our careers. She was so much fun. Gone too soon. My life is better for having known her. Condolences to Bob and the rest of her family and friends.

I will always remember the true kindness Pearl possessed. She really cared about her friends and co-workers. I had the honor of being her friend and will always hold her memory fondly. I am very saddened at her too early passing. Many will miss her. You were the best. Rest in peace dear Pearl.
