My thoughts and prayers are with all of Bud's family and friends today. I first met Bud at church and remember him fondly. He was always ready with a smile and a little conversation. I remember one Halloween, when we stopped by his house while trick or treating. He was so sweet and invited us to come in, so we could visit a little. My daughter thought that was so cool, because no one else ever did that! A small gesture that made for a life long memory, as she is now 32 and still reminisces about it!

The last time I talked to Mr. Stout he was sharing about the Korean war, it clearly was an important part of his life. I enjoyed his humor even at Halloween...he creatively dropped candy into my cigarette tubes. My prayers go out to his family and friends.
