Sherrie was a dedicated person who lived a simple life of importance to her community and family. She was a treasured teacher for sure, with a compassion for kids and passion for nature and science. She will be dearly missed by her family and community. My sympathy to the family.

I had the pleasure of working across the hallway from Mrs. Martin. She was such a caring and creative teacher. The children truly loved her. She was such an inspiration to all her fellow teachers. I know I was certainly blessed to know her.
