Here’s to a man who knew what he believed in, and made sure you knew too. Here’s to a true working class hero-- a man who worked tirelessly and was committed to his family, and truly had a family to be proud of. A man who would do anything for his friends—loyal is not a strong enough word—and they would do anything for him. Someone whose kindness and generosity knew no bounds, whose heart was as big as his smile, whose laugh was unmistakable, whose stories were unbelievable, and unforgettable. Here’s to Robbo. The world lost a good man and our hearts are broken, but I’ve never been surer that someone’s watching over us from Heaven. With love—Molly Murphy

Dear Linda and Family,
Please accept my sincere and sad condolences.
I will always remember Bob as an old and true friend. I was always sure that he had my back and that I could count on him.
I was happy that I got to spend some time with him recently at Tom and Truly's in AZ and that I was able to see him again at Ed & Joe's in Tinley in September.
Bob had a great sense of humor and really cared about those he loved and Bob's love was unconditional.
There are so many memories. He was truly larger than life and one of a kind. He will always be missed and never forgotten.

Today I'm going to say goodbye to someone. Someone I always looked up to and admired growing up. Both his "coolness" and his warmth rubbed off on me. I still can't seem to grasp it as hard as I try. He was a cousin, a baseball catcher, and a U.S. Marine, but most of all, he was a family man. He was "Bobby" and he introduced me to Redbreast Whiskey at a family picnic. (He always had great taste in everything!). He was a class act, always smiling, always proud of his beautiful wife and his great children. Your legend will live on my friend, as much as we'll all miss you. I am proud to call you my cousin.

Dear Linda: I am Gail's little sister Carol. Just wanted to say how sorry I am that Bob passed away. I was very shocked and saddened to hear this news. From the entries I have read from your children, it sounds like Bob was the most amazing father. He was surely taken away way too soon. May god bless you and your family at this most difficult time.

Mr. Koch,
I can’t stop thinking about one of my favorite memories of you: Theresa and I thought it would be a brilliant idea to fly down “Dead Man's Alley “on bikes (me on her handle bars). As luck would have it, I fly off and get cut up pretty bad. When we got home, you made sure to clean out my "wounds" and wrap them up in bandages. You were always there for me and treated me like your very own daughter. I will be forever grateful to you and the love and kindness you showed me while I was growing up.
Until we meet again,
Sara B

Hey Old Man I know you are in heaven right now but still feel like you have been taken from us way too soon. I always looked up to you and tried to mold myself into half the man you are. I love you so much and love that you loved your family with all your heart. The things you taught me over the years have helped me to be successful and start my own beautiful family. I can probably write all night long to you, however, I don't think I have to. We are father and son and fellow Marine Corps Brothers. Your legacy will live on forever in us kids. FYI Benny says hi and he loves you very much. Man does he miss his gampa. Semper Fi Old Man!!
Love,
Bobby
P.S. I am listening to America thinking of you!!

Dad, although you are gone from us, you will always be a huge part of us. I look at my family and can't help but see you in all of us every minute of every day. You left us with such pride and happiness in all of us, and we couldn't be more proud of the way we all turned out. You did your job and more in raising us to be the kind, loving people that you wanted us to be. I know you're looking down on us with the biggest smile on your face. I love you more than you could ever imagine, and I will carry on your legacy for the rest of my life. I love you and will miss you dearly.

Hey Dad I still can't believe this is happening you are hands down the best father a son could hope for! You are also an amazing grandpa to Hannah and Ben! Dad/Papa-Don't-Preach,
It's been less than 48 hours and it already seems like an eternity. I miss you so so much and think about you every second of the day. I will ALWAYS and forever be your little girl. You will live in my heart forever, and I know you're here with me right now. All you ever did was put your family first; Mom and us kids were all that mattered. I have never been more proud of anyone in my entire life. Love you forever and ever and I can't wait to see you again. "Cheeks!"
Love,
