Dear Jeanette, Toni & Paulie,
I am so sorry for your loss of Uncle Secondo. I have many good childhood memories of your Mom and Dad when I used to stay over at your house in my younger years. Your Dad was a very funny guy. He always had many jokes to tell us and was always fixing up things for us. I can always remember when Paulie used to play his accordian and your Dad would tell him to keep playing the same song over and over til he got it right. Also I can remember that Paulie used to play sink the Bismark song on his record player so loud that your Dad would start yelling at him! Boy it seems like a lifetime ago.
I know how much you all have sacrificed over the years to care for him. It is a very difficult but rewarding experience that you should always treasure.
I know it is a gift to be able to give to your Father in his time of need. There is no better gift than the gift of helping someone in their time of suffering.
I just want you to know that I read the letter from you and the one from your Dad one hour before my Dad died and I know he heard every word spoken. He passed on wiht peace on his mind. Thank you for that.
God Bless to all of you and hope we can get together soon.
All my Love,
Denise & Mom
