Thomas Kellogg Obituary

Thomas J. Kellogg, 82, of Homer Glen, passed away on Sunday, June 13, 2021.

Thomas was born in East St. Louis in October 1938. He married Maureen Hurney in 1960 in Chicago. He worked as a sheet metal specialist for Webster Sheet Metal for over 40 years. Tom was a veteran of the Korean War and served in the Navy, MM2 receiving a commendation for outstanding performance of duty.

Thomas is preceded in death by his wife of 50 years, Maureen Kellogg, his parents, sisters Georgia Mae and Ilene plus three brothers Art, Don and Pete.

Thomas is survived by Ann K Lacey, daughter, his brother Burt Kellogg, sister Martha Hey.

Thomas Kellogg will be buried at the Abraham Lincoln National Cemetery in Elwood, IL. Services will be private. Donations can be sent to the VA for Homeless veterans.

I worked with Tom for nearly 40 years. He was the best co-worker and friend one could ever hope for. Ann, so sorry for your loss. It was great you could be with him in his time of need. I know he loved you and Maureen very much.
