Ruby Royval Obituary

Ruby Ann Royval

Farmington - Ruby Ann Royval, 47, of Farmington, NM was reunited in heaven with her Mama & Daddy, her Grandparents & many other loved ones on 1/8/21. She passed peacefully at St. Vincent's Hospital in Santa Fe, NM with her loving children at her side. She was born on a beautiful Saturday on May 4, 1974, to Olivia (Lucero) & Jose Royval in Farmington, NM.

Ruby was a loving Mother, sister, niece, aunt, cousin & Godmother. She was a kind & giving woman who would always be there for you when/if you needed her. She became ill & struggled because of her illnesses, but that didn't stop her from working hard to provide for her two "babies", as she lovingly called them. It never stopped her from helping friends & family & at times she worked up to 3-4 jobs to ensure her children were taken care of.

Ruby had many interests which included reading, traveling, music & just enjoying life. She was blessed with the same creative talent as her Mama. She put that talent to use often by making flower arrangements for people's loved ones, creating home décor, restoring furniture & fixing up her home. And although she had bad days where she couldn't do the things she loved, she never gave up & always gave it her all. She worked hard & had many jobs throughout her life, but her biggest accomplishment was raising two independent & strong children.

Ruby is survived by her children, Briana (her little Red) & Andrew (her King) Logsdon, siblings Ruben Royval (Andrea), Rachel Barrientos, Rebecca Jones (Harold) & her stepdad Ermelindo Zepeda. She is also survived by many nieces/nephews, aunts/uncles, cousins, Godchildren & friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, Olivia & Jose, both paternal/maternal grandparents & many relatives.

Ruby's entire family will miss her immensely, especially her children Briana & Andrew. We love you so much our beautiful angel! Until we meet again.

Funeral services will be held at St. Mary's Catholic Church in Farmington. Rosary will be recited on Friday, 4/30/21 at 7pm & mass for her Celebration of Life will be on Saturday 5/1 @ 11am. She will be laid to rest at St. Mary's columbarium.

Even though I never got to meet you in person, I always enjoyed seeing you during bathbomb parties and anything Renne was sharing. You always had a way of making us all laugh on the Facebook lives. I know you are loved and missed by many. Your beauty shines in the memories you left behind and the promise of tomorrow.
