Jimmy Barber Obituary

Jimmy "Blair" Barber, Jr.

ELIZABETH CITY - Jimmy "Blair" Barber Jr, 56, Left his earthly body November 25, 2016. Left to cherish his memories is his loving wife, Nellie Baum-Barber of Elizabeth City NC and some very close friends. He will be dearly missed but his spirit will live on in our hearts forever. When Blair wasn't taking care of his bride he was an avid outdoorsman; he loved fishing and very fond of the Point down on Hatteras Island. Blair was known as the Mountain Man. To celebrate the life of Blair, we will hold a memorial service at one of his favorite spots, Friday, December 2, 2016 at 5:00 pm, the home of Chris & Mary Myatt, 1600 Ulster Drive, Elizabeth City NC, 27909. In lieu of flowers, Please make donation to the "Go Fund Me" page. https://www.gofundme.com/jimmy-blair-barber-memorial-fund.

So sorry for your loss. Blair was my sister in law's brother. I have not seen him in years. But the Blair I knew was a good looking, fun loving young man. You will be in my prayers.
