Rachel Wood Obituary
ELIZABETH CITY - Rachel Danielle Wood, 29, of Elizabeth City, NC, passed away Saturday, November 2, 2024.
Born in Pasquotank County on November 6, 1994, Rachel was the daughter of Michael LeRoy Wood and Marlene Smith Pippen (Owen).
Rachel lived a life of love and devotion to her children and enjoyed being a stay-at-home mother. Other enjoyments included her love of fishing, swimming, spending time with family, and going to the Outer Banks.
Surviving in addition to her parents are her two children, Marley Spence and Bentley Allen; three brothers, Carey Morris, Aeron Etheridge, and Corbin Pippen; a sister, Brenda Brown; a step-brother, Robby Pippen; two grandmothers, Sandra Wood and Frances Winslow; an uncle, David Wood (Teresa); an aunt, Regina Umphlett; two nieces, a nephew; and several cousins and extended family members. Her grandfather, LeRoy Wood, preceded her in death.
Private services will be held by the family.

She was a beautiful girl that went too soon I remember the last time I saw her she came to visit us she will be missed by many including her family up here I'm sorry her mom an everyone is going through this
