Barbara Foreman Obituary

GREENVILLE -- Barbara Ann Foreman, 90, of Greenville, passed away February 27, 2025, at her home surrounded by family.

Barbara was born on June 4, 1934 in Union City, OH, to the late William Yoder and Alice Conklin Yoder.

In addition to her parents, Barbara is preceded in death by her husband, Charles Foreman; brother and sister in law, James Luella Yoder; sister and brother in law, Ruby and George Edger; sister and brother in law, Mary and Harold Byers; brother and sister in law, Joe and Jane Mae Yoder; brother and sister in law, Frank and Connie Yoder; daughter in law, JoAnne Grote Foreman; and two grandsons, Charles Eugene Hopkins and Mitchell York Hopkins.

Barbara will be missed by her beloved children, Michael (Paula) Foreman of New Madison, Kevin Foreman of Arcanum, Kristy (Peter) Cutarelli of Greenville, and Lisa Foreman of Greenville; grandchildren, Beth (Chad) Hollinger, Chad (Bethany) Foreman, Ryan (Shannon) Weaver, Bradley (Ashley) Weaver, Heather (Ryan) Hill, Benjamin (Kaelyn) Foreman, Allan Hopkins Jr., Sharli Phillips, Tim (Pamela) Cutarelli, Aaron Cutarelli, and Beth (Roddy) Guest; great grandchildren, Hannah (William) McKee, Emily Hollinger, Lucas Foreman, Victoria Foreman, Wesley Hill, Breanna Hill, Rylee Hill, Oliver Weaver, Jack Weaver, Marc Hopkins, Paige Foreman, Bryce Foreman, Charlie Foreman; step-great grandchildren, Austen Cutarelli, Tayten Cutarelli, Samantha Guest, Brayden Guest, Julia Cutarelli, Mia Cutarelli, Maggie Phillips, and Johnny Phillips; sister, Linda Yoder; sister in law, Patty Jenkins; and numerous cousins, nieces, and nephews.

Barbara retired as the deputy auditor for Darke County, where she worked for 20+ years. She also worked for Big N and Clear's Shoe Store on Broadway. Barbara's most cherished job was raising her children and working on the family farm. Barbara belonged to Palestine Church of Christ. She enjoyed knitting, crocheting, painting wood toys that Charles made, quilting, and cross stitch. Barbara was an avid reader. Every Sunday, Barbara enjoyed and looked forward to her family coming over for dinner. Family was very important to Barbara; she attended the grandchildren's and great grandchildren's sporting events. Barbara will be missed deeply by her family and remembered for her orneriness.

A celebration for family and friends will be held at 11:00 AM on Saturday, March 22, 2025 at Reverent Church, 111 Devor St, Greenville, OH 45331.
