Dave was my friend. Whenever I was with Dave everything seemed right. He had a presence about him that made you happy. He pushed me to do things in my life that I would have never done on my own. This was not by pressure or force, it is because he had a way of making things seem right. He could make my fears disappear with a simple laugh and a smile. Because of this I have memories and experiences that I would never have had without Dave being a part of my life. I know that Dave lived a fulfilling life. I wish he could be with us longer so that he could enjoy the next phase. I will miss you David. I will do all I can to carry on your legacy. Thank you for being my friend!!!

Dear Kristen and family,
I am so very sorry for your loss and I will continue praying for you and your son. I wanted to share this prayer with you that a friend of mine who is dying from Lou Gehrig’s Disease
gave to me:
Do not look with fear at the changes and chances of this life. Rather look at them with full faith that God, whose you are, will deliver you out of them. He has kept you up until now. Do not, but hold fast to his dear hand and he will lead you through all things and when you cannot stand he will bear you in his arms. The same everlasting Father who cares for you today will care for you tomorrow and every day. Either he will shield you from suffering or He will give you unfailing strength to bare it.

Dear Kristen and Dave's Family
I never met you but just heard about this sad event. I worked with Dave for about 5 years while i was with PwC and was there when he was diagnosed with this horrible disease. he didnt let this phase him at all and i never saw any reduction in his love of life or energy he put into his work. He was the consummate professional. He will be sorely missed. I am so glad he finally got married and had a child - we used to all rib him about never having time for that. I hope you gain strength from knowing how many people loved him and respected him during his short life.
