James Caird Obituary
1971 - 2016
James passed away unexpectedly at his home in Scottsdale, AZ Tuesday, August 6, 2016. He is the son of Jim Caird, Founder of AIS, Auto Insurance Specialists which first opened at 15th and Highland in Manhattan Beach in 1968. James spent his formative years in Manhattan Beach and Hermosa Beach, attending Redondo Union High School, then graduating Northern Arizona University. He was a rare mix of strength and tenderness, his children and family always a priority. His friendships were deep and long lasting. He loved the outdoors and was an avid shooter and gun collector. There are many broken hearts feeling the pain of this tragic loss. James is survived by his wife, Marcie and three children; Jessica, 15, James, 12 and Megan, 9; his father, Jim (Cindy) now of Fort Lauderdale, FL, and his brother, Pete now of Boise, ID. Memorial Services were held Thursday, August 11, 2016 in Scottsdale. In lieu of flowers, please send donations to the Phoenix Children's Hospital in his name. So sad to hear that James passed away. I was a coworker of his for 12 years at AIS. He was always a pleasure to be around. My deepest sympathy to his family and friends. RIP James. Gone too soon...
