Harold Grisham Obituary

Harold Lee Grisham, 81, formerly of Boulder, CO, passed away on July 14, 2013 in Chicago, IL. He was born December 31, 1931 in Whittier, CA. He was raised in California, Illinois, and Rangely, CO. He also lived in Alaska, Montana, Nebraska, North Dakota and Wyoming. He was a paratrooper in the U.S Army and then pursued a variety of careers in the energy and construction industries. He owned an ice cream shop in Lyons, CO and a donut shop in Boulder, CO. He was very curious about things, had many big ideas and cared deeply about the welfare of working people. He developed an economic theory which is detailed at cantfaileconomics.com. He is survived by his wife, Michalina Czubernat Grisham of Chicago, IL, daughters Lynn Hansen of Pueblo, CO, Sharon Till of Phoenix, AZ, Kathe Carlton of Commerce City, CO, Laraine Parcher of Lafayette, CO, Renita Lucas of Silverthorne, CO, son Terry Grisham of Boulder, CO, brothers James Grisham of Casper, WY, Robert Grisham of Thermopolis, WY, Richard Grisham of New Braunfelds, TX, sisters Treva Scoggins of Godfrey, IL, Jennie Grisham of Boulder, CO, Sandra Martin of Hialeah, FL, nine grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by parents James Leonard Grisham Sr. and Pearl Syntha Young of Whittier, CA, and, by his sister Dora Burris of Cody, WY. A service will be held on Aug. 3 in Boulder, CO.
