Julian Lewkowicz

It's is with great sadness to announce that our beloved husband and father passed away unexpectedly on October 5, 2023. He is survived by his wife, Elizabeth Lewkowicz, daughters Ania Mangi of Denver Colo, and Jennifer Buffington, of Denver Colo, son- in law Michael Mangi and four grandchildren: Jonah Mangi, 19 years old, Maya Mangi 16, Alayna Lawson 15, and Annalisa Lawson age 13. Julian emigrated to America in 1969 in search of a better life for his wife and future family. He became a successful electronics engineer for over 30 years, winning many patents in his tenure. He worked for IBM for almost 24 years, then Maxtor Corp until he retired. In his retirement, he became an accomplished artist. He loved to paint and draw, with his grandchildren as his main inspiration. He was also very active, and loved Colorado and all the outdoor activities that it has to offer. But most importantly, he loved his family so very much. He's our angel in life and in death. The funeral will be at 11:00 AM on Friday, October 13, 2023 at Greenwood & Myers Mortuary.
