Jerry Wilbanks Obituary
A Celebration of Life service for Jerry Wilbanks, 77 of Corinth, is set for Sunday, June 30, 2024 at 2 p.m. at Magnolia Funeral Home – East Chapel with interment to follow in Shady Grove Baptist Misson Cemetery. Visitation will be Saturday, June 29, 2024 from 5-8 p.m. and Sunday, June 30, 2024 from 1 p.m. until service time at Magnolia Funeral Home – East. Bro. Charles Stephenson and Rev. Tim Dixon will officiate the service.
Mr. Wilbanks passed away Thursday, June 27, 2024 at his residence. He was born June 25, 1947 in Corinth to Birdie Mack Wilbanks and Lucy Smith Wilbanks. He retired from construction and maintenance and was a member of Shady Grove Baptist Church, where he served as a Deacon for 43 years. Jerry loved spending time with his family, hunting and being outdoors.
He is survived by his wife of 57 years, Dorothy Jean Wilbanks; his daughters, Patty Price and Angie Young (Richard); 6 grandchildren, Tanner Price (Destiny), Reid Price, Jacob Price (Allison Granberry), Alexis Price, Lauren Young (TY James) and Chandler Young (Madeline); 1 great grandson, Jackson Young; his brother, Jimmy Wilbanks (Mildred); his sister, Betty Holmes (Robbie); numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and a host of friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Birdie Mack and Lucy Smith Wilbanks; his brothers, Tom Wilbanks, Kenneth Ray Wilbanks, Ed Wilbanks, Bob Wilbanks and Gene Wilbanks and his sisters, Ruthie Crow and Martha Jackson.
Pallbearers will be Jacob Price, Tanner Price, Reid Price, Jude Jefcoat, Chandler Young and Ty James. Magnolia Funeral Home has been honored to serve the family of Mr. Jerry Wilbanks.
