Emily was born in Woodland, Aug. 24, 1980, and moved to Oregon with her family in 1993.
She attended and graduated from Perrydale High School in 1998. She received her bachelor of arts degree from Western Oregon University in Language Arts in 2003 and a masters in science and Humanities in 2005. Once graduated from WOU her passion was teaching at North Salem High School, where she taught freshman English, Honors, AVID, Senior Literacy Lab and World Literature, and philosophy.
She married the love of her life (Wesley A. Campbell Jr.) on Sept. 21, 2012, in Dallas, Ore. They were expecting their first child Isabella Ann Campbell on April 16, 2013. They were both called home to the Lord on March 22, 2013.
Emily was preceded in death by her grandmothers Joni Collet and Modean Iott Truitt, Grandpa Donald V. Iott; uncles Donald, Bennie and Kenneth Iott; and her father Frank D. Iott. Survivors include her husband Wesley Campbell, mother Gwenn Collet Iott, brother Barney Iott (Mary Ann); nieces Jessica (Kellen), Sadie and Maddie, nephew Luke; sister Daphne Iott Trimpe (Tim); nephews Zak Campbell and Christian Trimpe and niece Courtney Campbell; sister Stephanie Iott Moffat (Terry); nieces Emma, Meagan and Mea, and her brother Jordan Iott. Other survivors include grandparents Robert and Bette Collet, uncle Greg Collet and aunt Jill Collet; aunts Judy Iott, Nadine Iott and Betty Jean Truitt Peet (Alan); and many cousins, in-laws Wesley and Retha Campbell Sr.; and brother-in-law Chris Campbell (Addie); nephew Kelton and niece Regan and sister-in-law, Carrie Campbell Rupp (Doug).
In lieu of flowers please send donations to North Salem High School, 765 14th St., NE, Salem, Ore., 97301, in care of the Emily and Isabella Campbell Memorial Scholarship Fund. Memorial Service and fellowship will be held at 1 p.m., Saturday, March 30, at Salt Creek Baptist Church in Dallas, Ore. There will be a celebration of life assembly at North Salem High School, at 7:45 a.m., Tuesday, April 2, with the public welcome to attend.
