Alice Presti

SAUGERTIES-Alice Hixson Presti, 88, of Saugerties, formerly of Schenectady, died Saturday, October 3, 2021 at Aston Park Nursing home in Asheville, NC. Born in Queens, she was a daughter of the late Richard & Ruth Wehinger McKeeby. Alice was known for her beautiful watercolor paintings. Alice was survived by two daughters, Elizabeth Freedman and her husband, Michael and Holly Stratton and her husband, Daniel, seven grandchildren, Grant Denis, Whitney King, Hilary Roach, Reid Denis and their spouses, Ian Selig, Cory Selig, Noah Selig. Nine great-grandchildren and four step children also survive. Alice was predeceased by three husbands, Floyd Hixson, John Fedoush and Frank Presti. one stepson, Thomas Fedoush and one granddaughter, Tiffany Waters. A Funeral Service will be held at the Hurley Reformed Church, 11 Main St. Hurley on Friday, October 15, 2021 at 1:00 PM, with Rev. Charles Stickley, officiating. Interment will follow in Hurley Cemetery. Simpson-Hammerl Funeral Home is honored to assist the family with the arrangements.
