Nathaniel Holland Obituary

Nathaniel William Rodell Holland KINGSTON-Nathaniel William Rodell Holland was born on April 4, 1941 to the late Kathleen Naomi Jackson Holland and Avan Holland, Sr. Nat was also preceded in death by his sister Mattie Roberta Holland Bostic. Nathaniel was educated in the public schools of Kingston and in 1961 he graduated from Kingston High School. Shortly after graduating from high school, Nat went to work for the Star Brick yard. After its closing, Nat was hired by Central Hudson Gas and Electric Corporation where he was employed for many years. After leaving Central Hudson he was employed by the Trailways Bus Company for over 30 plus years, where he worked until retirement. After retirement, Nat continued to stay active by driving for the Kingston Cab Company. Nat leaves to celebrate his life; his wife Fannie and daughter Aretha, his son Duane (Patti) Clinton of Jacksonville Fla., granddaughter Kirstin Clinton, brother Avon Holland (Elizabeth) of Kingston, brother Edward (Dorothy) Holland of Saugerties, sister Joyce (Charles) Williams of Raleigh, N.C. brother Joseph (Theresa) Holland of Burlington, N.J., sister Julia (Anthony) Weathers of Omaha, Neb.: aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews, many devoted friends and his Beulah Baptist Church family. Nat will lie in repose 10 – 11 a.m. Saturday, Feb. 16, 2013 at Beulah Baptist Church, 92 Catharine Street, Poughkeepsie, N.Y. 12601. Services 11 a.m. at the church. Reverend Jesse V. Bottoms officiating. Interment at Wiltwyck Cemetery, Kingston, N.Y.
