David Wright Obituary

David H. Wright II, 72, of Pawling Ave., died Sunday, August 30th, at Saratoga Hospital, after a short illness. Born in Ballston Spa, July 30, 1943, son of the late David H. Wright and Edna Brown, Dave served in the US Navy in the early 60s. A plumber most of his working life, Dave worked for Mulholland Plumbing of Saratoga Springs for many years, and with several other small plumbing cos. An avid sportsman, Dave enjoyed fishing and hunting, was a proud member of the NRA, and loved all animals. Survivors include his daughter Karen and Tony Anello of Mechanicville; grandkids, Ryan and Ethan Mattison, Travis Anello, William Norris and Madison Cuilla. His step-father, Leonard Brown of Saratoga; sisters, Arlene Summers of Florida and Kathy Barnes of Amsterdam; stepchildren, Candy (John) Cuilla and Robert Norris of Schuylerville; along with nieces and nephews and families. David was predeceased by his parents; sisters, Maryann Anderson and Janice Everetts; and stepchildren, William and Lee Ann Norris. A gathering of family and friends will be held on Saturday, Sept. 12th from noon until 4 p.m. at his daughter's home, 35 Pawling Ave., Mechanicville. In lieu of flowers, remembrances may be made to an Animal Shelter of choice. Arrangements by DeVito-Salvadore Funeral Home, Mechanicville.
