Dorothy M. Moehle ScotiaDorothy Dot M. Moehle, age 87, entered into eternal life Tuesday, May 6, 2014. Born, raised and educated in Scotia, Dorothy was the daughter of the late James and Jenny Snare Hunter. She was a graduate of Scotia High School, class of 1944. She was an avid dancer in her younger years, practicing both ballet and tap. Later in life, she enjoyed meeting with the women of her card club, spending time at the family camp in Wells, NY and traveling far and wide with her RV club. However, there was nothing Dot loved more than her family, which was always her first priority. She is survived by her beloved husband of 67 years, John Bud L. Moehle; her children, David G. Moehle (Nancy) of Scotia and Carol S. Carpenter (John) of Scotia; grandchildren, Jessica A. Moehle of Scotia, Michael J. Carpenter (Andrea) of Scotia and Melissa M. Lindsay (Joseph) of Hagaman and great-grandchildren, Abigail and Michael Jr. Dorothy is also survived by her sister-in-law, Margaret Moehle of Scotia and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her brother, James Hunter. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday, May 13, 2014 at The White Funeral Home, 264 N. Ballston Ave., Scotia. The family will receive visitors at the funeral home Monday, May 12th from 4 to 7 p.m. Interment will be in Gerald B. H. Solomon Saratoga National Cemetery, Schuylerville.
