Franklin Rapp Obituary
He was a daycare provider and operated Dawn and Frank's Day Care in Rotterdam.
Franklin was an amazing husband, father, grandfather, son and daycare provider. He always helped everyone and was a good friend. Franklin showed his amazing love by being dedicated to his grandson Armani by attending every basketball game.
He is predeceased by his father Franklin Rapp Sr. and his day care child Onja Rose Howard.
Franklin is survived by his mother Philomena (Sarrutto) Rapp of Schenectady, his best friend and wife of 33 years Dawn Cooper Rapp, his sons Franklin Rapp III of Rotterdam, and Nicholas Rapp of Rotterdam, his daughters Sarah Della Rocco of Rotterdam and Toni Della Rocco of Rotterdam, his brothers David Rapp of Schenectady and James Rapp of Niskayuna and his sisters Angelina Rapp of Menands and Patti Rapp of Schenectady. He is also survived by three grandchildren-Armani Della Rocco, Nicholas Rapp Jr, and Ariyah Tucker as well as several nieces and nephews.
Funeral Services for Franklin will be Thursday evening at 6 p.m. at the Bond Funeral Home 1614 Guilderland Avenue Schenectady. Visitation will be held from 4 to 6 p.m. prior.
Contributions can be made in Franklin's memory to the Ronald McDonald House 131 S. Lake Avenue Albany, NY 12208.
