Helen L. Schell, 87, of Schell Road, Town of Wright, died Thursday, July 12th at the Albany Medical Center, after a brief illness.Mrs. Schell was born February 8, 1931 in Yonkers, NY, a daughter of Louis and Mary (Schoeber) Fox and later graduated from Schoharie High School.She worked many years ago for NYS Soil & Conservation, the Bumble Bee Restaurant and Buyers Mart in Guilderland, however her greatest joy was raising her family and assisting her husband with Schell Contractors. Helen enjoyed knitting, word puzzles and spending time with her grandchildren and was a member of the Gallupville United Methodist Church.She married, Grant Schell, on April 8, 1950. He predeceased her on September 6, 2003. Survivors include her three children, Pam L. Murphy of Berne, Wayne G. (Ruey) Schell of Schoharie and Robbie (Sawako) Schell of Shorthills, NJ; six grandchildren, Shelby A. Murphy, Tyler L. Schell, Brittany M. Schell, Tron Y. Schell, Aeon and Psylon Schell; along with many nieces and nephews.
