1929 - 2024

Phyllis J. Schneider Clifton Park - Phyllis J. Schneider, age 94, died on Wednesday, July 17, 2024, at Glendale Nursing Home. Phyllis was born on September 21, 1929, in Bradford, PA and was the daughter of the late Harold and Lillian (Crawford) Crosby.
Phyllis attended Nott Terrace High School in Schenectady and following graduation began working as a secretary in many different businesses, including G.E., WGY, and Ellis Hospital.
Phyllis was happiest when she was outside in nature. She loved gardening, relaxing on the deck, listening to the birds, and her yearly family Cape Cod vacations. Phyllis loved to cook- especially Thanksgiving dinner, spaghetti or her amazing mac & cheese. She enjoyed pinocle and listening to her Frank Sinatra and swing music. Phyllis loved a party and always found an excuse to gather the people she loved together, such as her group of girlfriends, "The JUGS" (Just Us Girls). Above all else, Phyllis loved her family and making people feel welcome. She had the friendliest demeanor and knew no strangers!
Phyllis is survived by her wonderful children, Jacqueline A. (the late Michael) Cooper, Kurt (Louisa) Schneider, and Peter (Mary) Schneider; her adored grandchildren, Scott (Marlys) Cooper, Casey (Janet) Bukowski, Steven (Paula) Cooper, Lisa (Derek) Marks, Mya and Owen Schneider; her dear great-grandchildren, Caidan Marks, Sydney Cooper, Bodie Marks, Riley Cooper, Roman Bukowski, Brooke Cooper and her dear life-long best friend, Albina Walsh.
Relatives and friends are invited and may call on Tuesday, August 6, 2024, from 4 to 5 p.m. at Townley & Wheeler Funeral Home, 21 Midline Road, Ballston Lake, NY.
A Funeral Service will conclude the evening at 5 p.m.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made in Phyllis's name to Alzheimer's Association of Northeastern NY, 1003 New Loudon Road, Suite 201, Cohoes, NY 12047.
