Aunt Marion loved getting all the family together for the holidays! She was always at her front door greeting us with a big smile! I loved her dearly and miss her so. So happy that I have my cousin Mary to share our memories!

Marion was one of the warmest, most vibrant persons I have ever known! Almost every memory of her is of her smiling. We spent wonderful times with Marion, Harry and Mary as we were growing up. Marion taught us how to ski (and ride the ski lifts!), how to canoe on lakes, took us on hikes, and taught us how to make apricot jam. Our families often met up at beautiful state parks to enjoy nature and activities together. When my mother had a surgery and long recovery during our childhood, Marion came to stay with us to take care of everyone. That's the kind of person she was! I also was so grateful that she and Harry drove to Charlottesville to bring me my grandmother's furniture and china while in grad school. Marion extended her warmth and care to my own children, visiting us in the Poconos, in FL and in NYC at American Girl Place with my daughter. It was magical! I am forever grateful for all she did. Marion's generous nature and optimism touched all who knew her. She made the world a happier place.

Memories of Marion Worthington will live on until the last person who knew her also passes away
- she was that special.
Marion brought so much love and happiness to our family over decades. She was my best friend from the day I met her 70 years ago at KAPL. She taught me how to use a slide rule, how to calibrate a manometer, how to have fun on a golf course no matter how bad my shot was, how to make apricot jam; she taught my children how to ski; she came to California to visit me when I first moved here and knew no one. We went to Laguna Beach that winter and laid flat on the sand for hours just talking because the breeze was so cold. Then we courageously went to Tijuana Mexico one day and had our picture taken on a donkey cart. It is one of my favorite photos!
Marion and Harry Worthington were rock-solid friends who were always there when you needed them.
I miss them both - they were truly special people!
