Pauline Snow North GreenbushPauline Jeanette Snow passed away peacefully with her children at her side on Saturday, December 14, 2013 in Albany, NY. Pauline (nee Gaudet) was wife of the late Charles E. Snow, dear mother of Chip of Carbondale, CO, Susan Snow of Mechanicville, NY, Emily Davis (George) of Villanova, PA and Tom of Needham, MA. Proud grandmother of Shanna Brown, Kelly Lemner Bailey, Jason and Jared Lemner, Rachel, Melanie, Charlie, Lucas, Jeremiah and Grace Snow. She was loved and will be sadly missed by her nieces and nephews, relatives and friends. Predeceased by her parents, Oscar and Elmina King Gaudet and her sister, Rita Brizee. She is survived by her brother, Robert Gaudet and his wife, Odilie of Toronto, Canada. Pauline graduated from Nott Terrace High School in Schenectady and later from Marianopolis College in Montreal. Pauline and Charlie lived most of their married life in Newtonville, NY and spent summers in Nantucket, MA. In later years, she lived at Coburg Village in Rexford, NY. Pauline was talented, beautiful and family came first. She will be remembered as fun loving, athletic and a gracious hostess. Pauline was gifted with a sense of creativity, was generous with her time and energy, a person who treasured friendship and maintained many lifetime friends. She always enjoyed a good laugh. Her faith, which she expressed through her family and her commitment to service, was important to her. Throughout her life she enjoyed her work with Catholic Charities, parish ministries and other areas of social outreach and concern. She was recognized later in life by Catholic Charities for her commitment. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at Our Lady of Assumption Church, 498 Watervliet-Shaker Road in Latham, New York on Wednesday, December 18, at 10 a.m. Family and friends are invited and may call at Bowen & Parker Bros. Funeral Home, 97 Old Loudon Road, Latham on Tuesday from 5 until 7 p.m. Interment will be private.
