Rita Lott Obituary

Rita C. Lott, age 74, entered into eternal life, Wednesday, July 1, 2015. Born in Schenectady, Rita was the daughter of the late George N. and Rita Maney Miller. Rita loved spending time with her family, especially the grandkids. She liked shopping and enjoyed crafts. Rita was employed by the former RAMSCO Municipal Supply Co. for over 30 years, before retiring. Beloved wife of 27 years to the late, Alton L. Lott; loving mother of Kevin Kuebler and his wife, Michelle, Ruanna Kolb and her husband, Alan, Randy Lott and his wife, Pam, Alton Lott Jr. and his wife, Deborah and Sandy Van Allen; sister of George N. Miller Jr. and his wife, Kathy, Jackie O'Rourke and her husband, Daniel and the late Nicholas Martin Miller. Rita is also survived by eight grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held 7 p.m., Thursday, July 9, 2015 in the Griswold Funeral Home, 1867 State St., Schenectady. The family will receive visitors at the funeral home, 5 to 7 p.m., Thursday, before the service. Inurnment will be Saturday, July 11, 2015 at 11 a.m. in Memory Gardens Cemetery, Colonie. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Rita's memory to The Wounded Warriors Project, PO Box 758517, Topeka, KS 66675. Kevin , Ruanne and famlilies. It is always sad when we loose a loved one. Please do me a favor and hang on to each other forever and ever. Thank you for being in my life too. I will love Aunt Rita and Uncle Al forever and ever. You guys are awesome adults. Thanks and hang in there.
