Steve, Rick & Karen,
We were saddened when we realized your Dad had passed away this winter & we were in Florida. We were at the cemetery today & noticed he is nearby my parents.
I have fond memories of the old neighborhood & the very special people who were fortunate enough to live there. Your Dad & family helped make those special memories.

Dear Cousins Steve, Rick and Karen
I'm still saddened and carry a heavy heart as I reflect upon the loss of Uncle Steve. I recently realized just how much the grandchildren of Michael and Elena McCarthy have in common...a true blessing for the love we have in our family. After sorting through the yelling, hollering and Italian emotions, the McCarthy family was rooted in love for family. I've attached one of my favorite photos that captures a brotherly love that trumps anything the city of Philadelphia could ever offer. God Bless Uncle Steve and my prayers will be with each of you as you carry his legacy forward.

To all the family, I am so sorry to hear of Stephen's passing. It was always delightful to meet Stephen at school or around town. We always talked about our mutual relatives and life in the old neighborhood. I will never forget him. My sincere condolences to all. Mary Ann Cardillo Fitzgerald

To Mr McCarthy's family I am very sorry to hear of his passing. He was one of those people who made the world a better place. One year he gave me tomato plants and tought me how to start my own plants from the seeds of the ones he gave me, best tomatoes I ever had. He will surely be missed by all who knew him. I will keep you all in my thoughts and prayers.
