Doris B. Fitzpatrick

Doris Barbara Fitzpatrick, 53, of Saratoga Springs, NY, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, February 4, 2026, surrounded by her family after a nearly two-year, valiant battle with cancer.

Dori was born in Houston, Texas on March 30, 1972, to Frank and Patricia Oudkirk. She was a proud, sixth-generation Texan who moved within the United States five times during childhood - Texas, California, Western New York, Wisconsin, and Florida - before settling in Georgia and attending St. Pius X High School in Atlanta, Georgia. Dori came to New York to earn her bachelor's degree at the Fashion Institute of Technology. She had a natural talent for both fashion, design, and art, first working in Manhattan and then in Montauk, where she met and married her husband, Jason Fitzpatrick.

Dori and Jason fell in love with Saratoga Springs, where they moved shortly after marrying in 2007 and have raised three beautiful daughters: Anna, Livia, and Jane. She used her artistic eye over the past decade to build a successful photography business, focused on weddings and achieving magazine publication regularly.

Dori is survived by her husband Jason and their daughters Anna, Livia, and Jane, her parents Frank and Patricia Oudkirk, brother Scott Oudkirk and his family, and her in laws Suzanne and Gary Fitzpatrick.

Dori had a very wide and deep circle of friends. She built her many relationships through church, the girls' Catholic school attendance, and both her and Jason's professional lives. Dori took comfort from and expressed profound gratitude for the deeply generous efforts of hundreds of people who supported the family when they learned she was approaching death. She asked that in lieu of flowers, those who would like to make any further gesture contribute to Birthright

Relatives and friends are invited to a calling hour from 11am to 12pm on Saturday, February 7 at St. Mary's Church, Milton Avenue, Ballston Spa. A Requiem Mass will be celebrated at 12pm. A reception will follow at St. Mary's School.
