Wayne Tretiak Obituary
Wayne was a self-employed carpenter for over 40 years in Charlton. His work is well known in Charlton, Galway, Burnt Hills, and Glenville. Wayne was passionate about hit and miss engines, antiques, wood working and anything outdoors. He was well known for his homemade ice cream and homemade apple cider. Wayne was known for being hardworking and hands on. He would help anybody with anything.
Wayne is predeceased by his father Theodore Tretiak. He is survived by his mother, Doris Tretiak, his siblings David Tretiak (Sheila) and Marcia Nowicki (Art), his three children Jennifer Butler (John), Rebecca Manning (Evan) and Kyle Tretiak, and his three grandchildren Kaydence, Harper, and Trevor. He also leaves behind aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, and nephews, as well as many other loved ones.
Wayne will be forever remembered for his sense of humor and his eternal love for his family.
A celebration of life with be held on Saturday January 7, 2023 at the Galway Volunteer Fire Department, 1985 West Street, Galway from 2 p.m. to 5 p.m. All are welcome to share memories and a bite to eat in honor of Wayne. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in memory of Wayne to the American Stroke Association and the Alzheimer's Association.
