BEVERLY JEAN DONEY

Beverly Jean Doney (Anderson), formerly of Round Lake Beach, IL, passed away Sunday, July 15, 2018 in Austin, TX. Beverly was born August 13, 1936 in Chicago, IL to Leonard and Dorothy Anderson. She was a graduate of Taft High School, and Resurrection Nursing College. Beverly worked as a nurse in Northwest corner of Chicago. She met and married Ralph J. Doney and had three children, Scott G. Doney, Todd L. W. Doney and Brian R. Doney. The family moved to the suburb of Mount Prospect, IL. While raising her family, Beverly became a secretary at the Randhurst Shopping Center. Later, Beverly was offered the position of Marketing Director for the Rouse Corporation. In 1985, she was awarded the prestigious Marketing Director of the year from the Rouse Corp. Beverly left the Rouse Corp., and with her business partner Penny Kubitz, opened the retail shop "Bath." Beverly retired to Round Lake Beach, IL. Beverly was predeceased by her son, Brian R. Doney. Beverly is survived by her sons, Scott G. Doney and his wife Amy of Austin, TX, Todd LW Doney and his wife Carol of Gillette, NJ, her daughter-in-law, Cynthia Doney of Hoffman Estates, IL, her nine grandchildren, her sister Jacklen Lauesen and family of Chicago, IL, and her brother-in-law, Randy Doney of Palm Springs, CA.
