DAVID E. WRIGHT

David E. Wright, 70, passed away on March 2, 2021 in his home. He was the beloved husband of Judith Ann Wright, and the loving father of Colby (Kirstyn) Wright, Elizabeth "Lyz" (Chris) Bongard, Becky (Brian) Anderson, and Joshua Wright. David was also the proud grandfather of 14. He was a dear brother of Terry (Jan) Wright, Linda (Edd) Schultz, Gordon Wright, Patti Jo Dean, and Bobby Wright; and dear brother-in-law of Carla Wright. He was also a fond uncle and friend to many. He is preceded in death by his brothers, Richard "Ricky," Thomas "Tommy," and Edwin "Chipper." David was born and lived most of his life in Des Plaines, but recently lived in Lakemoor. David was proud of his life-time career as an Electrician and recently he enjoyed driving for Enterprise Rent-A-Car. David was a sports enthusiast. He loved his favorite teams (Bears, Cubs and Blackhawks), but truly enjoyed coaching his daughters in softball and his son in baseball. He looked forward to golfing, fishing, card games with the guys and celebrations with family and friends. Visitation at Querhammer & Flagg Funeral Home, 500 West Terra Cotta Ave., Crystal Lake, IL on Friday, March 12, 2021 from 4pm-7pm, where a continued visitation will take place on Saturday, March 13, 2021 from 10am-11am. Burial to follow at McHenry County Memorial Park, Woodstock, IL. Due to current circumstances, 50 people will be allowed in the Funeral Home at a given time and face coverings are required.
