Florence Dannewitz Obituary

Florence E. Dannewitz Funeral services for Florence E. Dannewitz (nee Brummel), 92, of Montgomery, Ill., will be held at 9:30 a.m. Monday, at The Daleiden Mortuary, 220 N. Lake St., Aurora, to St. Peter Church for 10 a.m. Mass, with Fr. George Glover O.S.B. officiating. Born May 24, 1911, in Warrenville, she passed away Thursday, Jan. 1, 2004, at Provena Geneva Care Center. Interment will be in Marywood Cemetery. Florence is survived by her daughters, Shirley Wehner of Aurora and Marjorie "Marge" Davis of Portland, Texas; her five grandchildren; her eight great-grandchildren; her brother, Elmer (Joan) Brummel of Naperville; her sister, Theresa Oester of Wilton Manors, Fla.; her sister-in-law, Leona Brummel of Naperville; and by numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, J.D. "Bud" Dannewitz; her parents; and by four brothers. Visitation will be held from 2 to 8 p.m. Sunday, with the Rosary at 6 p.m. and a remembrance service following, at the funeral home.
