Frances Ruth Giloth

Frances Ruth Giloth of Wheaton A memorial service for Frances Ruth Giloth (nee Cramer), will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, Jan. 5, 2002, at Trinity Episcopal Chapel, 130 N. West Street, Wheaton. Born Aug. 7, 1918, in Evanston, she died Sunday, Dec. 16, 2001, at her home. Mrs. Giloth, born and raised in Evanston, was a resident of Wheaton for 35 years. She was a graduate of Evanston High School, Beloit College and a member of the Pi Beta Phi sorority. She was a lifelong member of the Episcopal Church and held leadership positions in the Altar Guild, the Women of Trinity and the St. Margaret's Guild. She sewed, knitted, and was an avid quilt maker. Frances is survived by her husband of 59 years, Paul Karl Giloth of Wheaton; children, Barbara (Fred Hillbruner) Giloth of Chicago, Robert (Kari Moe) Giloth of Washington, D.C., Copper (John Dubach) Giloth of Amherst, Mass. and Sandra (Stuart) Harris of Aurora; grandchildren, Christopher, Elizabeth, Beryl, Emma, Sean, Lian, Stephen, Jack and Sara; and her brother, Alwin M. Cramer of Hot Springs, Ark. She was preceded in death by her parents, Alice May Cramer and Alwin M. Cramer, of Evanston.
