Dear Dawn & Family:

Our condolences to you on the homegoing of John. It was our privilege to work with your family to care for your home here in Wheaton while you were in Peru. John's attention to detail was legendary. He was a dear, quiet man and we will miss him.

Dearest Boice Family,

We have so many memories of John. When we lived in Peru we all watched the first man to ever walk on the moon together. John and Gary gave blood together for a person in need. We were at piano recitals together, and I, Carolyn was privileged to teach piano along with Dawn at the seminary. The excellent work that John did there to help evangelize the country of Peru will live on and on. He loved what he did---he lived for what he did. Whenever John and Dawn were visiting in our home, we felt privileged. It was as though angels were amongst us and it was humbling. It will be good to get to heaven and see John there. We're so glad this is not a final farewell. Kids, be proud of your dad. He was truly the best!

Our love and prayers, Gary and Carolyn

Dear family of John Boice (especially Dave and Cristina),

It was a privilege for me to have met your Dad and to have performed the wedding ceremony with him for Dave and Emmy. I know this has been a long road with your Dad's illness, but God seems to have used it for His glory. The time seemed to have been well spent for closure not only for you, but also for your Dad. In the little bit of time that I got to spend with him, it was obvious of his love for you and his love for His Savior, Jesus Christ. I am sure that he desires nothing more than for you to continue in that great love he cherished and now lives in with complete clarity and understanding. May you find the comfort of God through His Holy Spirit being strong within you in the days ahead.

May God bless all your family.

Love,

Neil and Pegge Taylor

Our deepest sympathy. For 41 years (when Hans first met John in Wheaton Grad. School) we have been "with you" in prayer. "Only one life; 'twill soon be past. Only what's done for Christ will last." John has a long and lasting legacy.
