It is fitting that this guest book be available on Christmas Eve. The holidays were his favorite time of year. I am glad I was able to spend the pre-holiday season with him last year and witness the excitement he still got out of Christmas. Even though he was physically drained he loved assembling (or at least the direction thereof) the tree and Santa Railroad around the base for his grandchildren to admire. He truely had the Christmas spirit and was the ideal "Big Brother" to me. I am glad I could share this Christmas Eve with these thoughts of him.

Mick received as he gave. In the last several years, he enjoyed the unending personal and emotional support from his world of friends and relatives....as he has given over the years. He will remain very special in all of our hearts.

I would like to thank everyone for their kind thoughts and prayers during the past few difficult years as my dad struggled with illness. You all touched my dad's life in so many different ways. As I watched many of you walk by my dad's casket for a final goodbye, I was struck by how you each played a unique role in some part of his life, from his childhood to adulthood, from family to business associate. I know he would have wanted to personally thank you. He took such joy in life, and didn't want to let it go. But it was time. And you all meant so much.
Thanks,
Lisa Black & family

On behalf of the Bureau of Land Management staff in Canon City, Colorado, we would like the Mule' family to know that our thoughts are with them at this time. While most of us did not personally know John, we are all coworkers of his brother Tony and we know the sense of loss he and the rest of the family feel. Please accept our most heart felt condolences.

John gave me the opportunity to join the Circuit Sales team almost 5 years ago. He was definitely a fan of the holidays, as he would ALWAYS pre-order Honey Baked Hams for all of us and couldn't wait to try his new recipes for his own family. I will always remember his spirit of the holidays and generousity. My deepest condolences to his family. He will definitely be missed!

We'll miss John, although he's certainly at peace and with God now. I worked with John for many years and he taught me a great deal about both work and life in general. He was always professional and fun to be with -- the kind of guy you always want on YOUR team, because he had a knack for winning the game. His generous nature always showed as he was full of good advice, empathy, sympathy, and wisdom to share from his experiences. Either on the phone or face-to-face, he was the kind of person who always made me smile. He made the world a better place to be.
