RICHARD REINERT Obituary

Richard A. "Rick" Reinert A memorial visitation for Richard A. "Rick" Reinert, 60, will be held from 1 p.m. until the time of a memory service at 3 p.m. Sunday, at Williams-Kampp Funeral Home, 430 E. Roosevelt Road (one block east of Naperville Road), Wheaton. Rick's passions included anything Disney, Jimmy Buffett, international travel and Wheaton North High School. One of Rick's notable talents is seen in the personal touches and custom designs in the homes he and his wife built. He was a loyal employee and compassionate co-worker at Fellowes Manufacturing, as well as a leader in national and international credit organizations. Rick was the loving and beloved husband of Linda (nee Ehrenhardt); brother of Robert (Andrea); generous vacation planner for many nieces, nephews, and friends; and loving brother-in-law of Steve and Kevin (Teri) Ehrenhardt. He was preceded in death by his devoted mother, Marjorie Allen. In lieu of flowers, contributions to Wheaton North High School Alumni Association, 701 W. Thomas Road, Wheaton, IL 60187, appreciated. For service information, 630-668-0016 or www.williams-kampp.com.

I read Rick's obituary in the newspaper today but wanted to ponder it again. Rick was a dear man who was kind and giving. He didn't think it was beneath him to enjoy Disneyworld! I cry for Linda and the sudden end of their loving relationship, but I'm glad that Rick shared his last years with one of the most wonderful people I've ever known. We all want to end well, and Rick left us while we were least eager to see him go. That's ending well.
God bless you, Linda and all those closest to Rick.

I will always remember Rick's ready laugh and ability to amuse with his self-deprecating jabs. Smart and worldly, Rick could lighten the room with his easy-going style. It was a privilege to have known him and he will be greatly missed at Fellowes.
