Dennis Horvath Obituary
He was a U.S. Army veteran and member of the American Legion. Dennis was also a member of the men's group at the Church at Smith Valley. He enjoyed cutting grass, squirrel hunting, and fishing. He retired after 40 years from the Indianapolis Star.
He leaves behind to cherish his memory, his wife of 43 years, Jan Horvath; children, April Grossman, Diana Ashmore (Mike Ashmore), Sara Ratliff (Don Ratliff), and Michael Horvath; grandchildren, Christian Martin, Jared Martin, Christopher Ashmore, and Alexa Ashmore; siblings, Phillip Horvath, Robert Horvath, Charles Horvath, Susie Mazurkiewicz, and Marty Horvath.
Dennis was preceded in death by his parents, Frank and Elma Horvath, nephew, Ryan Horvath, and niece, Molly Ridenour.
Visitation will be held from 11:00 AM until the service time at 1:00 PM Monday, December, 22, 2025 at G.H. Herrmann Funeral Home and Cremation Center, 1605 S. State Road 135, Greenwood, Indiana 46143.
