I am shocked to hear of the passing of my good friend Ned. We were friends for about the last 15 years. Over the last year I didn't communicate with him but recently wrote him and didn't hear back and so I searched obituaries and was shock.I remember our beautiful talks we once had..he was like a father to me a mentor and good man.. My deepest condolences to his family and friends and Pat... Anita DeFrancesco

Christmas is another reminder of how much Ned will be missed. Have not seen Ned in decades and only communicated sporadically but this is the one time of the year we were always at least briefly in touch. I happily met Ned decades ago when he was starting up his new business in Southern California. We enjoyed many business lunches (usually on Ned's expense account!), in addition to occasional dinner theaters and fishing trips out of Dana Pt. Our most frequent outings though were to Skinny Haven restaurants where we both attempted to lose a couple of pounds or at least not gain more. When I first met Ned, Joey and Jason were just little kids. I imagine he was a great dad! Ned moved from Southern CA. not too long after he was best man in my wedding in 1982. Always looked forward to seeing him again sometime; we narrowly missed meeting more than once, and I will always feel the loss of not getting together at least "one more time". Great guy, gone way too soon; not to be forgotten...

Ned had befriended My girlfriend and I several years ago and he had a wonderful way of making you feel like you were the most important person on earth. How he loved Golf and the Yankees, we would talk for hours and would seem like we talked only for a few minutes , but that is how Ned made you feel... What a fine Gentleman and human being.. We will miss you dearly...

My wife and I met Ned when he moved in next door here at Hershey's Mill.
Ned became a special neighbor and friend over the years. We often crossed crossed paths early in the morning as Ned was off to work with coffee in hand and a big smile!
Ned affected our lives here in many ways with his positive attitude toward life.
Ned, you will be greatly missed.
Fondly, Sam and Joan Brown

Ned was a great neighbor and friend- a joy to be around ! .Every time I look out my window and see the empty birdfeeder, I feel sad. We both enjoyed watching the birds. It seems so strange to not see him come and go. We sure do miss him!!!

Let the display of this lighted candle represent the light of knowledge that Ned always sought to give to others. As such, through that knowledge, Ned's memories will be passed on for generations.
May your soul rest in peace ...

Your smile in your photo is how I will remember you. You knew how to live your life aligned with your purpose and you inspired all of us to examine our lives and do the same. That's so powerful. You lived life fully and I don't think you were ready to go, you were so young and full of energy. But you lived every minute passionately and I'm going to guess, with very few regrets. Your memory will be alive in our Vistage community.

Ned, wherever you are, I'm sure you are asking questions, listening carefully to the answers and guiding and encouraging thought provoking conversations. Such was the way of our friendship and we will miss those get-togethers. We are grateful to have known you and will think of you often. John and Marianne
