Shelly Monaghan Obituary
She was the wife and best friend of George Monaghan, with whom she shared 17 years of marriage.
Born in Grand Forks, N.D., she was the daughter of Thomas F. Bailey (Carol) of West Palm Beach, Fla., and the late Patricia R. Macphee Bailey.
Shelly had worked as a bus driver for the past 13 years with Krapf Buses.
She had a tremendous love for animals, especially horses, and was a member of St. Joseph Church in Downingtown.
In addition to her husband and father, she is survived by three children, Jessica M. Maraco, Jeremy Chauvin and Jillian Chauvin, all of Coatesville. She is also survived by her siblings, Kelly Chapman and Shawn Bailey; and her four grandchildren, Jeremy Chauvin Jr., Kaiden Jacobs, and Nevaeh and Cole Chauvin.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend her Mass of Christian burial at 11 a.m. on Wednesday, Nov. 12, at St. Joseph Church, 338 Manor Ave., Downingtown, where friends may visit from 9:30 to 10:45 a.m.
Interment will be in St. Joseph Cemetery.
Contributions in her memory may be made to the National Brain Tumor Society, 55 Chapel St., Suite 200, Newton, MA 02458.
