Frances Franklin Obituary

Frances L. Franklin (Frankie) was born March 5, 1963, in Columbus, MS to Frances C. Franklin and Virginia Franklin. He departed this life on July 7, 2024, after a brief illness.

Frances was an active member of Grace Missionary Baptist Church under the spiritual leadership of Rev. Ronnie C. King and a member of the Men's Sunday School Class. Mr. Franklin was a high school graduate of Columbus High School and attended Millsaps College.

Frances, "Frankie" as many know him, was a fun, kind, loving and enjoyed helping others through his business profession as a retired car salesman for numerous years through various locations: Covington Pike Toyota, Gossett Car Dealership Memphis, Homer Skelton Southaven. His personal hobbies were swimming, fishing and fitness.

Frances was preceded in death by his parents, Frances C. Franklin and Virginia Franklin; one brother, Edmond Franklin; two sisters, Cynthia Franklin and Ella Franklin.

Frances is survived by his loving son, Courtney Neal; and a host of grandchildren, nephews, nieces, cousins, relatives and friends; and special relatives, James Grantham and Leterrel Gordon.
