My heart goes out to all of Stoney's family and friends. I worked with him at Chuck Hutton from 1988 to 1998, sharing an office with him for about half of those years. We both shared passions for our families, for excellence in our daily work, and for our love of our Lord and Savior, Jesus. The Christ!
For the past 25 years I have been a CPA in Dayton Ohio and people always asked me how I got to be such an expert with Excel and financial analysis. I simply told them that for years I shared an office with a man named Stoney WISEly, and that he was one of the most appropriately named individuals I've ever met.
I wish I had a video of him just typing anything on the computer, I've never seen anyone who can type as fast as he could. And Stony was a great friend. We shared our faith with each other during those times when we work together. As I think back to him I'm reminded of the scripture where it says that iron sharpens iron. Stoney was indeed a great blessing in my life.
Even after moving to Ohio, I still maintained contact and friendship with him.
I am thankful that God put me in Stoney together, and I am thankful to have been his friend. I look forward to seeing him again one day.

I met Stoney Wisley while at Memphis State University back in the 1980s(I remember we were in a geography lab class). At some point in time, we found out we had competed against each other in basketball while he was at SBEC, and I was at Memphis Catholic High School.
Stoney was a very kind and friendly person.
I extend my sincere sympathy at this time of great loss.
Sincerely,
Pat Benedict
